OPTIMIZE THE MANUFACTURE OF CUSTOM AEROSOL PAINT

Recently, we upgraded our custom aerosol manufacturing. Adjusting various variables gives you many advantages:

1) Higher hiding power

- We reduced by 250 ml the amount of solvent used in each gallon of spray paint. In this way, we directly increase the solids content by volume of each aerosol. We increase by a minimum of 6% coverage per square foot applied per liter of paint.

- We choose color bases with factory dry pigments indoors resulting in increased performance of hiding power.

2) Increased longevity

- On average, 30% more paint in each cans. Previously, there was an average of 3.75oz aerosol, while now there is 4.9oz.

- Each aerosol will last longer.

3) An environmental economy

- Fewer solvents in paints, thus reducing emissions and increasing solids levels.

- Less waste; 1 gallon of paint now generates 26 aerosols rather than 36 previously.

- Less manipulation for applicators.

4) Better stability of the pressure and the jet

- We have adjusted the aerosol packaging pressure to allow filling with higher solid products, as well as to insert more paint. This aspect allows to be less aggressive with the valve, avoiding manufacturing leaks. In addition, by increasing the amount of liquid in the aerosol, the pressure exerted inside the walls and the spraying force are improved.

- This also allows maximum use of the paint and a reduction of the pressure variation when there are temperature differences. The paint / propellant ratio is better balanced.
