Product Description :
POLYUR 718 SERIES is a fast dry universal alkyd phenolic primer. It is designed as a primer to be used with topcoats containing strong solvents (such as epoxies or 2K polyurethane).

How to use
Mixing
The entire contents of each container must be mixed well before application.
Thinner
Dilute 5 – 10 % by volume with thinner 111603, DE - 300, DE - 400 for air application.
Recommended film thickness
2.0 – 2.5 mils
Drying time
Dust Free: 15 minutes
To recoat:30 minutes
Hard:16 heures
Limitations
· Air temperature and surface should be between 10°C - 30°C (50 - 86°F)
· Should not be applied in high humidity conditions
· Should not be applied on cold, warm or wet surfaces
· Shelf life: 12 months @ 25°C (77°F) unopened

Surface preparation
Remove all detrimental foreign matter such as oil, grease, dirt, soil, salts, drawing and cutting compounds and other contaminants from steel surfaces with Polyur 111628 (water-based cleaner) or Polyur 101601 (solvent based cleaner) or approved equivalency.
